I am a firm believer in financial transparency, and I'd like to take this opportunity to give you the breakdown for the rates I charge my clients.The big prep companies (Kaplan, The Princeton Review, Blueprint, et al.) charge students an average of $228 per hour-long tutoring session. Their tutors are receiving a fraction of this rate, and they are only allowed to use the standardized prep materials published by their employer, no matter the needs of the student.In contrast, my rate of $150 per session (a 35% discount, compared to the prep company average) covers not only your 1-on-1, 60-minute session, but it also covers the personalized preparation I do, unique to you, before each and every session.
